Tips for a November visit
- Thanksgiving week is the busiest. Book hotels and parade-week shows early, and expect closures along the parade route on November 26.
- Early November is the sweet spot. Shorter lines, the holiday season starting, and the marathon atmosphere on November 1.
- Dress in layers and plan indoor backups for rainy days: museums, Broadway and the holiday markets.
